Through the eyes of indigenous and non-indigenous artists, from different communities in Northern Quebec, we discover the vastness of the northern territory and the people who live there. They talk about their roots and the upheaval that they have lived the last fifty years. All have seen their lives change dramatically. Some have moved from a status of hunter-gatherers to sedentary lifestyles. Others left the sea for the mines. These artists express the realities facing their communities and reflect on the future. Some are considering it with fear and others with great optimism and hope.
