Leslie is 11 years old and lives in the province of Ontario, Canada. Winter is approaching rapidly and on the farm we are preparing for the cold weather ahead. Among other things, Leslie will help cut firewood. She will introduce us to the family preserves. We explore the colourful autumn foliage while Leslie rides her horse around the countryside. We will visit a Wapitis and bison farm. Both animals are native to Canada. It all ends with Thanks Giving dinner. This ancient Native American ritual is to thank the earth for our bountiful harvests. Last but not least we will learn how to decorate and prepare pumpkins. What fun!
