Bryndís is Icelandic. She has to do a project on her country for school. She heads off to do some research around the capital, Reykjavik, before taking a tour through the Icelandic countryside. She stops off at Thingvellir and Lake Thingvallan. Bryndís takes notes about everything that might be of use for the project: the island’s geology, its plants and animals, and of course plenty of details about the island’s history, such as her Viking ancestors and their religious beliefs. Along the way, she passes the greenhouses that are used to grow the island’s crops, as well as the geothermal power and heating plants. It’s a very busy day’s exploring, that winds up with a relaxing dip in the Blue Lagoon.
