Diego, eleven, is enchanted because the carnival of Rio is beginning soon and his samba school is getting ready for the big competition. It is one of the great traditions of the Carnival to get all the samba schools join in the parade. Each school joins the parade with its own dancers, singers, musicians and floats and Diego want to make sure his school wins. He actively participates in the costume making, decoration and inspection of the floats and the rehearsals of the singers and musicians. With everything going on, Diego no longer knows which way to look! Luckily, playing ball with his friends, visiting the Sugar Loaf Mountain with his father and going to capoiera class allows him to forget his stage fright a few hours before the parade. The big night approaches and Diego and his samba school want to win the competition. Will they be the best?
